And I totally understand not liking big random trades; I don't usually do them either. It's more like... I've not seen you actually doing random trades. Maybe we just understand the word differently, but usually people who use it are fine taking any cards from the other person's trade pile, even if there isn't anything they plan to collect. (Usually they pick popular cards they can easily trade forward, like decks from Free! or Madoka) So when I've seen you first say don't ask more than 2 random trades and then that there wasn't anything and offer a hold with a deadline (which is actually very clever, since trades that are pending forever are kinda annoying)... It feels strict. Especially since (or maybe because?) you're collecting relatively few decks and many of them are above 10 cards, which makes finding anything you actually want hard.
I'm very sorry for explaining it like this. I really don't mean to insult you or criticize your way. Everyone can play this game the way that makes it fun for them. And actually we are kinda in the same boat with this, since my trade buddies constantly say I'm also hard to trade with; Most of my decks are fairly popular and I'm actively hunting cards myself, so it's harder to find cards for me from other people as well. So I wouldn't even have a ground to criticize your play style, if I wanted. Which I don't. As long as I can ask you to hold a card I desperately need, it's ok and just makes completing the deck more challenging.
So I'll keep your offer in mind. There wasn't anything else above mid priority, so you don't have to hold anything right now. But thank you for reminding me, that it's always an option. <3
(Didn't mean to write so much... Sorry. I can't explain anything briefly.)
